Professional development

Health professionals

Training is available through hospice for other health professionals working with palliative patients. We consider it an important part of our role to resource GPs, aged-care and allied health to provide the best palliative care possible, through formal training and clinical mentoring. We are happy to discuss your education needs with you at any time. Please contact Clinical Educator Adi Spens-Black with your enquiry on 09 425 9535.

This course is endorsed by Hospice NZ. Certification of competency is awarded on completion of course and written test, and is valid for 2 years.
